I had one in the 'Corps. It's funny how many people would say they were junky guns. Mine was worn down pretty good, and had about a bazillion rounds through it. It always went bang, and although it didn't shoot as straight as my current XD it was always up and to the left. A little 'Kentucky windage' and it made for a great pistol.
Serial Number: Model: Product Description: Approximate Manufacture Date: Parts Listing: Owners Manual: Product Brochure or Literature: Choke System: NOT APPLICABLE Barrel: Call Beretta Stock: Back to Search Page. Manufacturing Dates of first 92 model I am trying to figure out if the timespan given for the production of the first model is correct (1975-1976). I own an Italian made 92 of the first design (step slide, frame safety, bottom mag release), and the date stamp on the trigger guard says AC, which according to [1] this table is 1977.

The only problem I ever had with it was that one of the two issued mags would stay jammed into mag-well. A real pain to deal with as good mags were about as common as a unicorn's gold tooth. I will get another one soon.
